Jacqui looked after our sixteen year old Jack Russell Lily for over two weeks earlier this year. Jacqui was keen to ensure that she provided the best care possible so we arranged a number of online face to face meetings beforehand. We spoke to her beforehand to explain Lily’s specific requirements as she takes medication and is an elderly dog.

Jacqui took all our concerns, instructions and considerations seriously and I got the impression very early on that nothing would be too much trouble. Also, it was apparent from the ongoing communications during the dog sit that Lily’s needs were promptly acted on and were being met.

We had texts and photos on a regular basis.

We felt reassured throughout the whole time Jacqui cared for Lily that Jacqui understood what was best for Lily and a common sense approach was adopted throughout the dog sit.

We know Lily can be unpredictable with other dogs and we felt that Jacqui understood what to do in such situations and had the knowledge to deal with whatever came her way.

Most importantly though, it was clear that Jacqui enjoys looking after and supporting animals and Lily  took a shine to Jackie, she was totally comfortable with her and trusted her. Lily was as happy with Jacqui as we were.
